TSP Handbook Application

The HEL TSP Capability is a handbook containing information describing techniques, analysis methods and tools that, when applied by a user to address a test specific subsystem installed in tactical target for a specific HEL weapon test scenario, provides a tailored target subsystem protection solution. A TSP solution may include both non-physical changes to the test structure (e.g. target engagement geometry changes) and application of proven non-developmental physical protection techniques for the installed subsystem in the target itself (e.g. adding redundant components, shielding components, and applying reflective coatings.) The tailored solution generated by using the HEL TSP Handbook also includes guidelines and procedures for applying non-developmental physical protection techniques to the target. The handbook user is provided a logical, easy to follow step by step process for identifying a tailored target subsystem solution.
